Hipster Milkmaid

I don't know if you can tell, but I'm really bad at coming up with names for my looks. Like, really bad. Hipster Milkmaid? Yea, ok. But I digress! I wore this look the other day when I was working on a photo shoot (which I will be showing off soon here on the blog :D). I like to keep my makeup simple yet true to myself, and I always keep my hair out of my face. My 'signature' look is always a simple, winged liner and a bold lip. Makeup jobs aren't the time to experiment with something new, because I feel that it is important to look presentable and like yourself on a job. But that's just me!

I also busted out some good ol' fashioned milkmaid braids. Fun fact: when you have shorter hair, it is really difficult to accomplish this look. Like... really difficult. My "solution" was to create four braids and just have them all intertwine with each other and hopefully not look like a hot mess. It wasn't perfect (I now know how to tackle this hairstyle for the next time), but it still looked nice and stayed put for six hours I needed it to stay put. This is for you, curly girls!
