It is no big secret that I have a rather unhealthy obsession with Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. I am completely enamored with their tinted moisturizers, as well as their lip tars, glitters, and loose eye colours. Their latest product launch was the OCC Conceal, which they describe as:
More than just a concealer, OCC SKIN:CONCEAL may be the only product you’ll ever need for complexion perfection! Tested behind-the-scenes by the artists at OCC for over two years prior to its release, it’s passed the pro’s test for ease of use, coverage and endurance. Formulated from the finest vegan ingredients available, OCC SKIN: CONCEAL also nourishes and hydrates the skin with Cocoa Extract, Aloe Leaf Extract and Vitamin E for coverage that feels as good as it looks! Perfect for any medium from Digital Photography and Hi-Definition TV to everyday use and wear!
This product retails for $20 for 8.5 grams of product. For reference, my all-time favorite concealer, Benefit's Boi-ing concealer, is $19 for only 3 grams of products. Obviously, OCC's concealer is an amazing deal! You get SO much concealer for such a great price. And just so you know: the Boi-ing concealer is no longer my all-time favorite.

This is my holy grail concealer. It is absolutely amazing. It is creamy and hydrating and just absolute perfection. Since my skintone is rather fussy, I am in between shades, which can be a little inconvenient, but tolerable nonetheless. The shades I use are Y1 and Y2. The great thing about this concealer is that it has such an amazing coverage, but isn't too thick or too slippery (like the Eve Pearl concealers). It also is hydrating, which, although I do get pretty oily in my t-zone, it doesn't add to the oiliness. Since I also deal with acne and eczema outbreaks on my face, this concealer doesn't emphasize the dryness. It conceals it effectively and wonderfully.

Especially since I have two concealers to use, I know these are going to last me a really, really long time. The money was completely worth it! I highly recommend this concealer to everyone. I'm going to have to stock up on these for my kit. They're amazing!

Y1 is on the left; Y2 is on the right. A little bit difficult to see on my skin but you can definitely see I'm in between both shades.

  3. I just got Y2 and I think I'll need to pick up Y1 as well. How do you mix yours? Do you pat them on by layering? I was wondering if it was possible to pre-mix them and keep them in a separate jar!
