I have a white nail polish from Sally Hansen X-Treme Wear (or whatever it's called), but it peels right off my nails with a day. I knew that a Cult Nails white would last a lot longer on my nails, so I knew Tempest was a must-buy. I'm sporting a manicure with both Tempest and Blaze (and Manipulative), and Tempest has stayed on without a chip so far for the past four days. All Cult Nails polishes last at least a week on my nails, without any chipping. Tempest is almost a one-coat white, but I recommend two. Since it is so pigmented, it's a bit on the thicker side, but is not goopy or hard to apply.
Blaze, on the other hand, is just a super amazing glitter. It applied evenly, and is semi-opaque in two coats. In the swatches below, I have on two coats. With three coats, I imagine it will be fully opaque. This looks super awesome layered over Tempest, and I'm looking forward to layering it on top of a black nail polish as well. It isn't thick, and applies smoothly.
Each shade retails for $12.00, and is available on the Cult Nails website. I urge you to check them out! These are so perfect for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. I'm already wearing them around the clock!
