Review: Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara

Review: Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara

I'm not a huge mascara lover by any means, so typically I just buy the cheapest mascara I can find in the drugstore and reserve only one luxury mascara for special occasions (I'm looking at you, Yves Saint Laurent Shocking Mascara...). In an effort to expand my horizons, I decided to try a more expensive basic mascara from Sephora. I've seen the Pixiwoo sisters use Eyeko mascaras before, so I figured I would give it a go and see if I liked it.

The Eyeko Skinny Brush mascara is a lengthening mascara, not a volumizing one. The packaging is unique in the sense that the tube is squeezable so you can get every last bit of mascara out. The wand is nice and thin, and makes it pretty much impossible to get clumpy mascara. The color is a beautiful glossy black, and will moisturize your lashes and keep them conditioned. It retails for $19.00 at Sephora.

I personally prefer lengthening mascaras over volumizing ones because I find that there is less clumping. This really lengthens my lashes (as you can see below), and I also really like using this mascara on my bottom lashes as well because it doesn't smudge on my lower lashline like most mascaras do. I really like the formula of this mascara, as it does not budge throughout the day and looks really natural. It's kind of a pain in the butt to remove at night, but it'll come off easily with warm water. If you're looking for a good, everyday kind of mascara, I would definitely steer you in the direction of this Eyeko mascara. Next on my list to try is their Curvy Brush mascara. Have any of you tried Eyeko mascaras?
