Review: Le Métier de Beauté Colour Core Lipstick in Uma Paro

There is nothing that delights me more than a well-pigmented, bright lipstick. My last few LMdB reviews have not been the most positive, but I am delighted to share with you all a product that is worth the hefty price tag. At $32, Le Métier de Beauté Colour Core Lipstick in Uma Paro is an awesome, bright magenta lipstick that is super moisturizing and stays on for a respectable amount of time. It reminds me a lot of MAC's Violetta lipstick, only less violet and more pink.

I definitely would prefer this lipstick over MAC Violetta. This lipstick is very well pigmented and doesn't fall into lip lines after an hour or two. Like I said before, it is moisturizing and sits comfortably on the lips. The formula contains jojoba, lanolin and shea butter, which is why the lipstick is so comfortable to wear. There is nothing I loathe more than feeling a lipstick making your lips drier and tighter. Gross! Paired with a lip liner, this lipstick will definitely last all day with minimal touch ups. For all my lipstick lovers out there, you may want to check these lipsticks out and see if there is a color that appeals to you. I definitely recommend this, and I think I will be going to Neiman Marcus soon to get another shade.

Disclaimer: I received this lipstick complimentary of LMdB PR. However, all opinions stated in this review are completely my own and were not influenced by the brand whatsoever.

  1. The color is gorgeous! I like how it's a bit sheer as it seems more wearable xx - Boho Vanity
