3 Easy Looks Using the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

One of my most recent makeup acquisitions has been the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I don't know what took me so long! For $27, this palette is the most wearable and versatile palette I own. Since today is the first official day of summer, I figured I'd show you guys three different looks you could wear to three different events during the summer.

Roadtrips can be long and exhausting, but can be so much fun when you're with the people who matter most to you. Makeup-wise, I like to keep things super basic, as you'll be stuck in a car for a long period of time. Plus, it's easy to add on to this look to look more glamorous. For this look, all you need are the Venus and W.O.S. eyeshadows from the Naked Basics. Tightline using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Perversion, add mascara, and voila! You're ready to start roadtrippin'. I also used a light coral blush on the cheeks, and just wore lip balm.

It's this time of year when there are multiple barbeques every weekend. I like keeping it simple for summer barbeques, as it's normally in the afternoon and the sun is blazing hot. For this look, I used Foxy on the lid and Naked 2 in the crease. I used Faint as the eyeliner, and brought it to my lower lashline. I also kept the cheeks simple, and used a berry lip gloss on the lips. Since you'll more than likely be eating at a barbeque, using a berry lip stain would probably be a smarter option.

For your next summer soirée, turn up the smolder! I used a combination of Venus and W.O.S. on the lid, and for the crease I used a combination of Faint and Crave. I also used Crave as the eyeliner, and used Venus on the inner corners. I used bronzer to contour, and used coral blush. For the lips, I opted for hot pink, but you can opt for a nude lip. For the hot pink lip I used here, I used Make Up For Ever's Aqua Rouge #16.

If you haven't already, definitely check out the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. For $27, it's practically a steal! Have any of you used this palette before?
