It's been a long time since I've posted something for my fellow curly girls out there. Well, I'm bringing these posts back! I've discovered new ways to keep my mane in check, and I cannot wait to share my secrets with you all. Before I start posting my tips and tricks, I figured it'd be best to post my five absolute essentials for curly hair. Now, there are SO many different kinds of curly hair that these products may not work for you. I have a lot of thick, frizzy curly hair, with tight ringlets that frame my face, and looser curls in the back of my head. If you have fine curly hair or looser curls, you may find that these products are too heavy for your hair. But for curly girls like me, these products are perfect because they don't make my hair crunchy and keep the frizz in check. Unfortunately, my fellow curly girls know that maintaining curly hair is not cheap. But I have found Ouidad products to be well worth their price tag- something I can't say for other high-end curl products!

I'll be posting my hair routine soon, along with different styling tricks I've learned and maybe even some cute hairdos. Feel free to share your tips and tricks in the comments below!

  1. I've heard (somewhere, haha) that Ouidad makes great products for curly hair so I may have to try one of the sampler packs they have floating around! Also, I'm super duper intrigued by that comb :O I must try it!! Can't wait to the other posts in this series :D
