3 Nail Polishes You Need Before The End Of Summer

3 Nail Polishes You Need Before The End Of Summer

cult nails, cult nails road trip collection
Cult Nails recently debuted a new collection entitled "Road Trip, Anyone?" While the collection consists of five lacquers, I chose to hold out until they were available individually and purchased Riot, Be Loco, and Mayhem. And let me just say this: these are my favorite colors Maria has released thus far. I kind of wish I had these earlier on in the summer because these would have been my manicure staples. But alas, I cannot complain, as these are now in my possession and are BEAUTIFUL!
Cult Nails Riot swatch and review, teal nail polish
Riot is a bright mint creme. I would describe it more as a teal than a mint, though. This color has a tendency to stain the nails, so be careful. It is pretty much opaque in one coat, but I used two coats in the swatch above.
Cult Nails Be Loco Nail Polish swatch and review
Be Loco is a bright, peach-toned creme. If you're familiar with the Cult Nails line, I would say this is a more pigmented version of Scandalous. This is opaque in two coats.
Cult Nails Mayhem Nail Polish review and swatch, holographic nail polish
Mayhem is a holographic top coat. It was hard to catch a good picture of this polish, but the blurry swatch above does a pretty good job of capturing it. I'm not typically a huge fan of holographic nail polishes, but I am completely obsessed with this polish. In the swatch above, I have it layered over Riot, then by itself (with two coats), and then layered over Be Loco. It is such a stunning top coat, and I do believe this is the "must-have" from the whole collection.

Riot and Be Loco are both available on the Cult Nails website for $12, while Mayhem is available for $14.
