This is the first mask that I have ever tried that does not dry down. One of the main ingredients in this mask is manuka honey (which is fantastic for the skin), so when applied to the face, it will stay "wet." The mask has a slight grainy texture to it, which is great when you wash the mask off since it will exfoliate the skin one last time. This mask is meant to eliminate blackheads, reduce oil, and clear problem skin. While it definitely hasn't eliminated my stubborn blackheads, I can say it has helped with oil control and definitely helps with clearing skin. Every time I take the mask off, my skin feels and looks refreshed, and some of my minor acne spots are gone. It is recommended to leave the mask on for 15-30 minutes, but I leave it for at least 45 minutes as I do homework or blog stuff. Perfect for an evening at home!
I suppose this is the part where I drop the bomb... This mask retails for $60, and while it is a major splurge, I do not regret it for a single second. I only use this once a week (because you can bet your pretty lil' behinds that I am going to stretch this product out for as long as I can), and cannot picture myself living without this mask. And the smell of the mask is also pretty relaxing, so light those candles up and get ready for a soothing evening. All you need is a bathtub and a few cucumbers to cover your eyes, and your evening at home just got infinitely better. I can definitely say that this mask has been my gateway drug into the world of La Bella Figura-- and now all that is left for me to do is to decide what my next LBF splurge is going to be.
