I know that a lot of my readers don’t come to my blog to read product reviews, so I’m going to keep this review short, simple, and to-the-point. I’ve been testing out the DermOrganic products for a couple of months, but I didn’t really appreciate them until this past Sunday, when I got a horrific sunburn from being out in the hot Florida sun for less than two hours (when will I learn the importance of reapplying sunscreen?!). Why? Well, these products are gentle and effective when it comes to skin, which is a major plus when your skin has been scorched by the sun.
The DermOrganic Soapless Facial Cleanser ($20) is exactly what the name implies- soapless and super gentle. Since I'm incredibly sunburned, I've been avoiding exfoliators like the plague- and this has pretty much been my saving grace. It is gentle, yet effective. To top it off, the Daily Moisture Renewal (which is now known as the Facial Moisturizer) ($20) is a lightweight moisturizer that actually hydrates my skin. It is also really cooling on my burned skin, and has been my go-to moisturizer since being sunburned on my face. Move aside, aloe vera gel!
The Hand & Body Moisture Lotion ($20) is a really great fragrance-free body lotion, but it takes a bit of arm grease to fully rub it into the skin. But it's totally worth it, because it leaves skin soft and silky. And not surprisingly, it also creates a great cooling sensation when you're sunburned. Last, the Argan Oil ($36) is just like every other argan oil I've used, and is great to apply on top of your moisturizer to really lock in that moisture.
Overall, I am really impressed with the DermOrganic skincare range, and like how the products are for the most part organic and natural. If I had to choose a favorite from the four products I tested, I think it would be the Daily Moisture Renewal. Normally lightweight gel/lotion hybrids leave my skin parched, but not DermOrganic's. I highly recommend. Have you ever tried anything from DermOrganic? Which product here piques your interest?
