- The pigmentation on these babies are craaazy good. The two lipsticks I picked up were Melted Nude and Melted Berry (one of the new ones for Fall). You only need the smallest amount for it to be fully opaque!
- While you may associate liquid lipsticks with having a liquid-y appearance to them, fear not: these dry matte. If you want a little shine, just add some gloss on top!
- They are really long wearing. These are no joke. I was pleasantly surprised. Even the nude shade stays on for a long amount of time, though not as long as the berry shade. I didn't calculate the longevity of these, but if I had to guess, the nude stayed on for about five hours and the berry stayed on for about 7-8 hours.
- They sit comfortably on the lips. The thing with most long wearing lipsticks is that they make your lips feel really dry and uncomfortable. Not these!
- They don't accentuate dry lips. I've read some people complaining about how these accentuate dry, flaky lips, but I haven't had any issues with that. And I have dry, flaky lips!
- The packaging is really nice. The applicator is a really great sponge-tip which applies the lip color nice and evenly.
6 Reasons You Need To Buy The Too Faced Melted Lipsticks
posted on: 8.12.2014
Too Faced debuted these liquid lipsticks earlier this year, and boy was there hype. I've never been a fan of liquid lipsticks, so I declined on trying these when they first came out. Now, I'm not one to listen to hype, but my GOD were these hyped up. Everyone I knew was raving about these. Even non-beauty blogger friends of mine. I think that's when I knew I had to go out and try these, and then I made the plunge when the makeup gods floated an Ulta 15% off coupon into my hands. It was destiny! The moral of this story is: don't be like me. Stop what you're doing, and buy the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. Not fully convinced? Here are six reasons you need to do the deed:
