But not all v-neck shirts are made equal. If I had a nickel for every time I blindly ordered a v-neck online and had it fit terribly, I'd have like, six nickels. For me, I'm all about trying to conceal my midsection since I have a very short torso and all the weight I gain tends to go straight to my gut, so I tend to favor oversized and slouchy v-necks. My absolute favorite v-neck is the Madewell Slub V-Neck, which is featured in the photo above from my Instagram. It's really soft, comfortable, and flattering and doesn't reveal to much cleavage.
And here's a bonus: one of my favorite digital shorts from Saturday Night Live about dudes wearing v-necks. Slightly inappropriate for you youngin's reading!
How do you feel about v-necks? Do you have any other wardrobe essentials?
This is a fun post! I love the lazy dress style, I honestly think a lot of the time it looks better than trying too hard anyway! Timeless too.

I love that SNL skit haha. I enjoy v-necks from time to time but it's not my go-to neckline. That shirt looks really comfy and effortly stylish :)
ReplyDeleteI love my V-necks... which reminds me that I should get some more :D
ReplyDeleteI'm a lazy dresser, too! That SNL skit is super funny :)
ReplyDeleteV-necks are my life. I love them and wear them 90% of the time. My issue is always find ones that are long enough because I have a long torso.
ReplyDeleteI love V-neck tees. They're so easy to wear and they go with everything!
ReplyDeleteI love slub v-necks. I'm trying to hide a gut and they're a god send!
