Unless you've been hiding under your pile of makeup for the past year or so, then you've probably heard of the website Gloss 48. Gloss 48 is an amazing resource to try out new indie brands in this oversaturated beauty marketplace, and at a discount, too. When they reached out to me to see if I'd like to try some products from their shop, I ~obviously~ said yes. Because you all know I have a serious addiction to trying new indie products out. It's a problem, and I acknowledge it. But like the old wise man once said, #yolo.
I was sent two Eddie Funkhouser lipsticks, a Skin, An Apothecary body whip, and a Frankie & Myrrh aromatherapy spray. Basically everything I'm a glutton for in one awesome package.
The two Eddie Funkhouser lipsticks I received were Modern Marvel and Strip Search. Modern Marvel is a really fun and on-trend purple lipstick that applies sheer but can be built up to full opacity. It's also very moisturizing on the lips, which is a total plus. Strip Search is a vibrant pink lipstick that just screams "SPRING!!". Just like Modern Marvel, it sits comfortably on the lips and can be applied sheer or built up to full opacity.

Last but certainly not least, I received the Frankie & Myrrh Serenity Now!!! Aromatherapy Spray. I've mentioned my struggle with anxiety before, so receiving this spray in the mail was practically a godsend. This spray contains frankincense, spruce, and orange and will help reduce pressure and stress. You can use this as a body spray, a disinfecting spray, a spray to help you meditate... Whatever you want, really. Whenever I'm feeling tense or anxious, I spray this around me and breathe it in and instantly feel more grounded and relaxed. This is definitely a must-buy for me, and you bet your lil' booty that I'll be buying more from this brand.
I really like how Gloss 48 offers a wide variety of products to eager consumers. This is a great way for smaller, niche brands to get noticed in a marketplace where, quite frankly, it's downright hard to be noticed by the masses. I mean, look how varied my package was! If you're looking to try something new and relatively unheard of, then definitely give Gloss 48 a try. Their website is really easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing, and you can't beat the deals they have going on their site.
Have you ever tried any of the products mentioned in this post? Had any experience with Gloss 48?
