Oh No, I'm Getting Old: Eye Cream Edition

best eye creams for 20 year olds, kiehl's creamy eye treatment review, embryolisse artist secret radiant eye review, eysilix review
There comes a time in every person's life where they look into the mirror and start realizing that they are, in fact, not getting any younger. At the ripe ol' age of 22, I looked into the mirror and noticed the fine lines creeping around my eyes. Ohhh- so that's why some women in their 20s start Botoxing. I get it. Dramatics aside, I figured it's time to start incorporating eye creams into my skincare regime, and have tried everything from moisturizing eye creams to anti-aging eye creams. Here are my top three eye creams:
  1. Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment- With avocado as one of the main ingredients, this ultra moisturizing eye cream is meant to moisturize the delicate undereye area. I tend to get eczema patches around my eyes in the wintertime, but this creamy eye treatment prevents that from happening.

BEST FOR: Those of you newbies who want to start getting into the eye cream game (like me!) and aren't looking for anti-aging properties.

  2. Embryolisse Artist Secret Radiant Eye*- This amazing cooling and moisturizing eye treatment stick is definitely an "artist's secret" for depuffing and brightening the eye area after a long night of partying. If I'm seriously lacking in the sleep department, the instant cooling feeling from this eye treatment is a serious treat for my eyes, and helps brighten my eyes up.

    BEST FOR:
If you're constantly on the go and don't have time for more than three hours of sleep per night. This little gem will make it look like you've had a full night's rest. Also great for hungover-looking eyes.

  3. Eysilix*- This eye cream combines 10 peptides and botanical extracts to minimize the look of puffiness, dark circles, crow's feet lines and wrinkles. I rarely ever buy into those sort of claims, but I will say this: my dark circles were noticeably less dark and my crow's feet lines were less pronounced. Best of all, this is a drugstore find and is a hell of a lot more affordable than most other eye creams in the anti-aging category.

    BEST FOR:
Those of you who are looking for a more traditional anti-aging eye treatment. And also those of you who don't want to plunk down almost $50 on an eye treatment.
Alright, ya'll. Now I want to hear from you: what are some of your favorite eye creams that you've come across? Let's trade secrets in the comments below.

  7. Best to always start early! I don't use eye creams anymore because serums and moisturizers do the same job for me.... coming from an older lady, haha!
