THE BEAUTY COUNCIL POST HEADER
Truth be told, I am a very stressed out person. Like, I have the hardest time relaxing because my mind is always going a million miles a minute. In an effort to "find my chill" (as my younger sister likes to put it), I've implemented a new weekly tradition, inspired by my favorite show, Parks and Recreation: TREAT YO SELF TUESDAYS. And this week, courtesy of Lush Cosmetics, I am treating myself to an absolutely divine bath. Awww, yea.

Lush very kindly sent me the Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar and a Floating Flower Bath Bomb. The Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar contains essential oils of lavendar, ylang ylang and neroli which create a calm and grounding environment. The Floating Flower Bath Bomb contains pure jasmine absolute and cypress oil and creates a carousel of colors in the bath tub. So, truly, these make a pretty magical "treat yo self" experience.

For the full "treat yo self" experience, toss the bath bomb into your bath and be prepared for a colorful explosion to happen right before your very eyes. For some extra "bubbly", take half of the unicorn bar and crumble it into the running water. Not only will this add some more color to your bath, but it'll add some fun bubbles! Light some candles, find a nice, soothing playlist on Spotify, and grab a book (or find a movie on Netflix) and be prepared for some serious relaxation. Bonus points if you pour yourself a nice glass of wine that isn't Two Buck Chuck. Because c'mon. TREAT YO SELF!

This bath definitely made for a chill and relaxing evening. My first "TREAT YO SELF" Tuesday was a complete success, thanks in part to Lush Cosmetics. While it's probably not practical to do this every Tuesday night, I do think that this needs to become a bimonthly tradition. Donna Meagle and Tom Haverford would be proud. What do you do to "treat yo self"? Let's get #TreatYoSelfTuesday trending!

  1. The Unicorn Horn actually looks like multiple swirls of ice cream! I could never bring myself to crush and use it LOL. I usually treat myself to my favourite Lush Karma or Honey Bee bath bombs.
