Spring is generally the time of year when my allergies are at an all time high. Am I the only one in that department? It's kind of the worst. I think that is why in the spring, I don't like doing complicated makeup looks because they'll end up rubbed off within a couple of hours. But at the same time, I don't want to look like I've just gotten back from a 48+ hour binge, either. Which is where the easy spring glow makeup look comes into play. It's incredibly easy to do and makes me look like a living, functioning, adult human being. I've partnered up with The Beauty Council and Glo Minerals to show you a step-by-step tutorial on this SUPER easy look. Here's what I used:

I used four eyeshadows: the Glo Minerals Eye Shadows in Haze, Twig, Orchid, and Sand Pebble. These are amazingly pigmented, and are buildable. I also used the Glo Minerals Blush in Papaya, which is formulated with vitamins A, C, and E, and green tea extract. It's also incredibly pigmented, so you only need a small amount. Then there's the Glo Minerals Shimmer Duo in Candle, which is a stunning duo of highlighters. Fun fact: Glo donates a portion of proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation! How awesome is that? Last, I used the Glo Minerals Suede Matte Crayon in Sorbet. I love how the cap has a sharpener attached to it so you can sharpen the crayon whenever it gets flat. Keep reading to see how I used these products!

  1. First, sweep Sand Pebble from the inner corner of your eye and halfway onto your lid.
  2. Next, take Orchid and blend it into Sand Pebble, focusing on the outer corners of your eye and blending it into the crease.
  3. Take Twig with a fluffy brush and blend it into the crease.
  4. Then take Haze to blend out Twig further into the crease as a transition color.
  5. Using a small pencil brush, smudge Orchid on the lower lashline.
  6. Use mascara.
  7. Apply Papaya blush on the cheekbones and blending well into the hairline.
  8. Using the Shimmer Duo in Candle, apply a small amount of the highlighter onto the tops of your cheekbones. You can also apply it on the inner corners of your eyes to make you look more awake.
  9. Finish the look off with a pop of color using the Suede Matte Crayon in Sorbet.
  10. And voila! You just finished your SUPER simple makeup look and you look like a total babe! Win/win!
The Glo Minerals products were pretty much made for this look. I'm kind of obsessed with the lip color in this look. It's coming off more magenta/purple in pictures, but I would definitely say it's more of a hot pink in person. It's the perfect color for me, really!
